Read - Acts 11
My Key Verse - Acts 11:1 The news traveled fast and in no time the leaders and friends back in Jerusalem heard about it—heard that the non-Jewish "outsiders" were now "in."
My Reflection - This is probably one of the reasons why I feel church should be exciting. Some people don't see it that way. They think that we should be stoic and that the bible should just be sufficient. There is some truth to that. The bible should be sufficient but the presentation in most churches is very lacking.
This verse shows that when there is something that is exciting the news spread. That is why you should be intentional about creating momentum. Use a community project or a in-house project to create a buzz and excitement.
If we present like we have a dead product who on earth would want to buy. I hate to quantify the gospel in terms like that but isn't it true.
My Prayer - Father, help us to present the most awesome message there is in a way that shows the world that we are excited about what you have done for our lives.
