I am off today...but not off. I have several things I need to do. Working a full time job and launching a church demand both a lot of time and energy.
Probably one thing I will have to do, and something my wife has said, is set boundaries and manage our time.
One thing I saw happen through the past year is that my relationship with my wife has grown. Through the hard time we bonded together. We shared our frustrations together. We are not perfect but I believe we are closer now than ever.
God has also brought some great friends into my life. It is amazing the people who said they were going to be there for us. "Where are they again?"
For what is about to go down....I'm simply PUMPED!

What Were They Thinking
'los posted something today that I had never thought about before.
What were they thinking?
We know the story but they didn't.
We know He died yesterday 2000 years ago. We know He rises from the grave tomorrow 2000 years ago.
But they didn't.
What were they thinking?????

Two Ideas
Have some ideas in the hopper.
1. Podcast - We are still a few months out from our church launch but I feel I need to sharpen up my communicating skills. It has been about 5 months since I last delivered a message and like anything if you don't use it you begin to lose it. So I'm thinking about starting a podcast that will force me into prepping each week and delivering a message. I'll let you know when I get it up and going.
2. Open Source - I am thinking of beginning another blog. Ok before you say, "are you crazy?" This blog would simply be a resource blog. One of my goals is to open source the materials from our series. Since I have a lot of materials from my youth ministry days I'm going to begin with that. The idea came from a youth pastor who finished up using my Heroes series. He said it went well and he wanted to know if I had anymore. So I'm sending him four others.

Vision or Relationship
What is vision?
I think vision adapts some as we really seek to get in that place God wants us.
I think it is about faith and walking the walk with God. The vision for our lives gets shaped and molded.
Vision really is about faith. We ultimately don't know. I know that people will say that they know that they know but we just sense what we think God is telling us and then we go after it. Then God changes it a little here and there and we just keep hearing from Him going after it.
Really it's about relationship.
Could I even say that vision is relationship?
